brett is a guy who plays guitar and sings, and writes songs. he also plays the drums, and occasionally the bass, but not that often. he started out as a guitar player, but found himself naturally gravitating towards the drums in his basement, which he spent much of his free time playing thoughout his college days. eventually, he was asked to join a great band called Agent Porridge.

after drumming, singing, and touring with them for a few years, they called it quits and brett was unsure of where to go next. he spent some time playing drums for a fantastic blues band called the El Dorrado Kings. this band featured core members of Levon Helm & the Barnburners. this made brett feel special.

but what made brett feel even more special was writing and recording his own songs on his 8-track. he would play all of the instruments and do all of the singing and this made him feel good. it was only a matter of time before he would take it to another level. his great friend alex weinstein, a brilliant producer and musician, suggested recording an album. so they did.

flying once again is the result and it is filled with emotion, energy, and honesty. there are melodic hooks everywhere and grooves galore. this debut album has brett embarking on his next phase. check out the album, and please go see him live. he has spontaneous energy and is "refreshingly unpretentious."
